Eligibility
The Players' Tour is an invitational program in which the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee determines eligibility requirements. It is open to boys and girls ages 13–19. Juniors who have reached their 19th birthday prior to August 18, 2010 are eligible only if they have immediately finished their senior year of high school. Invites are sent out to junior's based on their average score to par using their top three scores in our program from 2009.

Invitations have been extended in waves for juniors again this year. The first wave of invites that will be allowed to register include boys with a scoring average to par of 4.67 or less and girls with a scoring average to par of 11.00 or less.

Entry Procedures
The number of players who can participate in the Players' Tour is limited. Registration and individual series will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Registration for the first wave of registrants begins on Monday, February 15th, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. (CST). All membership registration for the Players' Tour program MUST be completed online at our website www.minnesotajuniorgolf.com by using credit card payment of VISA, MasterCard or American Express. If the Players' Tour is not filled by Monday, March 8th, 2010, the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association reserves the right to invite additional juniors. Each of the three series will be limited to 90 junior golfers (70 Boys and 20 girls). Each junior golfer may register for ONLY ONE series. Series registration will not overlap (There are no pick and choose events).

Membership Fee
Registration fee will be $275.00. This will include your membership, access to the MN PGA Junior Players' Club in BlueGolf, entry fees for the four 18-hole events and one 36-hole event in your series, and a special Players' Tour membership package. You will receive the membership package at one of the first events in your series. A Junior Tour membership will also be included for those juniors ages 18 and under as of August 18, 2010. Juniors who are 19 will NOT be eligible to compete in any Junior Tour events. Players' Tour members will NOT be included in the Junior Tour lottery. They will be allowed to participate in the Junior Tour events that do not fill from the lottery and may try to play in tournaments as a walk-on.

Competition Format
Each series will consist of four 18-hole stroke play competitions and one 36-hole stroke play competition. Players will be paired into either a boys or girls division depending on their sex. USGA rules shall govern all play. Players may not use caddies or motorized carts. All players must either carry their own clubs or use a pull-cart. NO provisions have been made for practice rounds. On tournament days, practice is restricted to designated practice areas at the discretion of the host facility. Pace of play will be strictly enforced; participants playing 18 holes should complete their round in no more than four and one half-hours after the start of play. THERE WILL BE NO WALK-ONS AT ANY OF THE SERIES EVENTS. Each event will have a main roster of participants who will be allowed to compete.

Tour Refund Policy
Juniors who wish to cancel out of the Players' Tour program must do so seven (7) days prior to the first event in their series in order to receive a partial refund. A $25.00 processing fee will be deducted from ALL membership refunds. Any cancellations after the onset of his/her series will forfeit all rights to any refunds distributed by the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association. In the case of an emergency, written requests for refunds must be submitted to the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association Office. In order to be considered for a refund due to illness or injury, a doctor's/physician's note must accompany the written request. All emergency-related refund requests will be considered on their own merits. A $25.00 processing fee will still be deducted from all membership refunds even if we have received a doctor's note.

Cancellations from Players' Tour Events
All cancellations from events must be submitted online by accessing your account with your Players' Club ID and password from our home page or by calling the office at 763-754-6641. You need to do this even if it is the day of the event. It is very important that you let us know if you cannot make it to an event in your Series. It reflects poorly upon us if we have an event at a course and there are twenty juniors who no show. There will be NO refunds distributed if a junior misses an event in his/her series. If you are a no show at any event in the Players' Tour you will no longer be eligible for Series Champion or Player of the Year.

Outside Series Events & Bonus Points
Players' Tour members can register for events outside of the series they are registered for by filling out an outside series event registration form. This form needs to be returned by mail or fax, there will be NO online registration available for these events. Please do not send checks to pay for outside series events. We will only be accepting payment by credit card. Outside series registration is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Returning this entry form does NOT guarantee entry into event(s). Event(s) confirmations will be emailed to the email address that the junior has listed in their online MN PGA Junior Players Club account about a week before the event and at this time your credit card will be processed. The cost to play in 18-hole events will be $25.00 and 36-hole events will be $40.00. All cancellations out of an outside series event will be charged a $5.00 processing fee prior to the date of the event. Members will be eligible to win plaques and earn Player of the Year bonus points. These points will count towards Player of the Year ONLY. They will NOT count towards Series Champion. (See 2010 Player of the Year Criteria)

Players' Tour Match Play Championship
This tournament is open to all 2010 Players' Tour members. You will not be able to register for this event online UNTIL you have received a confirmation email for your Players' Tour membership. At this time you can then access your MN PGA Junior Players' Club account on our home page and register for one of the qualifiers. After you have signed up for a qualifier you will receive a confirmation email if you have been accepted into the event. If you sign up for a qualifier and cancel out before the deadline of Friday, July 2nd at 4:30 p.m. (CST) you will receive a full refund minus a $5.00 processing fee. After the deadline date there will be no refunds given. Remember this sign-up is also on a first come, first serve basis.

For an additional $25.00 you can upgrade to the Players' Club Premium Edition, which has increased benefits and opportunities. It allows you to track your statistics for all your rounds played, keep in touch with friends, upload swing videos and create a personalized profile and a lot more. Additional information about the Premium Edition is available on our home page.

Prizes
At the completion of play, plaques will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. In the event of a tie, the tournament administrator will determine a playoff method (if possible, an on-course playoff will take place, either playoff holes or a chip-off/putt-off. In the event that the course is not available, a scorecard playoff will be used beginning with the #1 handicap hole). Juniors that are involved in the tie must be present to participate. Playoffs are conducted only to determine who will receive the plaques.

Dress Code
Proper golf attire is required at all tournaments. Players must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing. T-shirts, tank tops, short shorts and blue jeans will not be acceptable. Each host facility may have additional rules and dress code requirements that must be adhered to by all participants.

Conduct of Spectators/Parents
The Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association encourages spectators and parents to attend events and requires spectators and parents attending to conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Spectating is a privilege, not a right.

All spectators must:
• Walk only on the cart paths (walk in the rough when cart paths are not available)
• May not interact with participants and should remain at least 25 yards away from the competitors they are following; please keep up with the group and do not follow behind interfering with other groups and slowing down play
• Turn cellular phones on silent or vibrate while on the golf course
All spectators must NOT:
• Talk with the players
• Give rulings or advice
• Interfere with any group on the golf course
* Please note that all spectators are allowed to assist in a search for lost golf balls, as long as NO advice is given. Spectators are also permitted to carry food, beverages, umbrellas, etc., and seek the help of MN PGA Junior Rules Officials.

Interaction with competitors will be considered the giving of advice (Rule 8-1) and will result in automatic disqualification for the competitor.
