2008 Beginners'/Transition Tour and Junior Tour
Membership Registration
Membership Fees
Beginners'/Transition Tour (Ages 8-12) - $50.00
Junior Tour (Ages 13-18) - $75.00
* Membership based on your age as of August 15th, 2008 - Please be careful and make sure you choose the right membership based on your age!
Note: All juniors, new and returning, must register by clicking on the "Become a Member" button below under Member Registration. Returning members'
membership numbers from 2007 will not work in the MN PGA Junior Players Club. Once your membership has been approved you will receive an email with your Players Club ID and
Password to access your MN PGA Junior Players Club account.

2008 Beginners'/Transition/Junior Tour Tournaments
The Tournament Selection deadline has already passed for 2008. If you became a member before the deadline and did not make your tournament selections OR if you have become a member after the deadline please click here to find out your options after the deadline. (pdf)
Online Registration for Open Events: Juniors that are 2008 members are now able to register for Beginners'/Transition/Junior Tour tournaments that still
have openings after the tournament selection process. Juniors will be able to register for events that have open spots up to seven days prior to the date of the event.
This event registration will be on a first come, first serve basis and we will only accept online tournament registrations. You can click on this
event schedule -
to check out the events that have openings. Events that are still open have a register link next to them. At this time you will need to use your ID and Password to sign up for
an event. You can also sign up for open events by logging into your Junior Players Club account. If you sign into your Junior Players Club account you will be able to
register for more than one event at a time. Events that still have openings will have a check box next to them when you are logged into your Players Club account and have clicked on the tournaments tab.
How to view event information, tee times, results, etc...
Please click on the event schedule link on the left hand side of the website under the 2008 BT/TT/JT Tour or the 2008 Players Tour to view
specific information for each event. You will then click on the info button link for that event to view tee times, results, driving directions
and much more. Tee times for events that are listed as a tee time start will be posted four days before the date of the scheduled event.
Code of Conduct/Liability Release
ALL juniors need to have a signed Code of Conduct/Liability Release Form on file at the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf
Association Office. This is mandatory in order to participate in any of our programs.
You can download the form below and either mail or fax it in.
Liability Release
The Country Youth North Minneapolis/St. Paul tournament for juniors age 3-17 is held at Oak Marsh, Oakdale, MN on Friday, July 25th. For additional information and online registration please click here. |

Minnesota Section Junior PGA Championship |
|

Juniors! This year the Minnesota Section Junior PGA Championship (formerly the Westfield Junior Minnesota PGA Championship) will be taking place at
Breezy Point Resort (Whitebirch GC) and Deacon's Lodge GC for juniors ages 13-18. We will also be having a championship for juniors 12 and under at the Cedar Creek GC in
Albertville, MN. If you would like to learn more about this tournament and registration, then you should check out the information about the 2008

JUNIOR EVENTS CANCELLED
Unfortunately Mother Nature was not nice and the Minnesota PGA Junior Tour event at Balmoral GC on Wednesday, June 11th was rained out. We will NOT be able to reschedule the event so a $20.00 refund will be issued to those juniors who were registered for this event.
Unfortunately due to severe weather the Junior Tour event at Madden's Pine Beach West Course on Wednesday, June 11th has been cancelled. We are hoping to reschedule this event. If we are not able to juniors registered for this event will get a refund.
FRENCH LAKE EVENT RESCHEDULED
The Transition Tour event at French Lake GC has been rescheduled. The NEW DATE & TIME is Wednesday, July 23rd with tee times starting at 10:00 am.
2008 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
The Minnesota PGA Foundation is proud to announce that four juniors have been chosen to receive a scholarship in 2008. The scholarship recipients are Zach Hanson of Farmington, MN, Christopher Kalthoff of Waconia, MN, Molly Leland of Alexandria, MN, and Sara Schaenzer of Eagan, MN.
Starting this fall, the four will be receiving scholarships of $4,000.00 to apply towards their college tuition over the next four years. The Minnesota PGA Foundation awarded the scholarships on a combination criterion of high school grades, class rank, ACT/SAT, and extracurricular activities.
