A Special Thanks! |

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, the 2000 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association season was a great success. A key to this success is due in part to the help and support we received. First of all, we would again like to thank all of the facilities who were kind enough to host a 2000 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association event. We would also like to thank those individuals who gave their time and energy by helping us out in other areas, including academy coordination, tournament administration, and technical support. The official web-site of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association has recently been updated, so be sure to check it out! We have added a link called "Photo Gallery." This is a collection of some photos from this past season's events. We also have added a link that pertains to the Minnesota - Wisconsin PGA Junior Cup Matches. This newsletter will be added to the web-site, and you can look up previous newsletters in the newsletter archive. Player Profiles are also updated with each edition of "Tour Tidbits."

Krista Swanson, Forest Lake, MN Anna Haag, Duluth, MN Angela Biagini, Dellwood, MN |
Juniors can select their name from a list on the "Player Stats" link and are able to see all of the 2000 tournament results (Junior Tour and/or Players' Tour, and Major Events) that they participated in. We are thinking about including a player archive, where a player can see results from Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association events from year to year. This can be really helpful when putting together a resume for a college coach.
We are also working on adding online registration for the 2001 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association season, which will include Junior Tour Membership and Tournament Registration. Juniors and parents can save a lot of time by applying online.
If something that you would like to see is missing from the web-site, or if you find incorrect information, feel free to contact us at info@minnesotajuniorgolf.com

Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association Scholarship |

 |
The Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association is proud to announce that it will be offering the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association scholarships again in 2000. The criteria for the scholarships are based not only on academics but other interests. The applicants must be 2000 Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association members and a senior in high school for the 2000-2001 school year. The Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee will vote and make the final decision on whom they think is most deserving of the scholarships. Individuals interested in obtaining more information about the scholarships or obtaining an application can call the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association office at 763 - 754 - 6641. The application needs to be returned by Thursday, November 30, 2000.
