Most memorable experience(s) occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event: "My most memorable moment was when I was competing in the Minnesota PGA Sectional Event in Brainerd, Minnesota. I had a two-stroke lead going into the par 3, 18th hole, the green was surrounded by water. I was nervous, so instead of letting my nerves get the best of me I asked if I could hit first and tried to keep a positive mental picture. Much to my relief, I knocked the ball within 5 feet from the pin."

Most memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event: My most memorable moment would have to be at Pebble Lake GC (Fergus Falls, MN) where I shot even par for the first in my life. "I ended up shooting three under on the front and three over on the back (three birdies and an eagle on the front). My father had brought me there, and while I played, he visited one of his banks. When he came back, he had gotten word that it was highly likely that I would shoot par. He didn't believe it. I knew where I was the whole time and on my last hole I slacked a bit." I bogeyed the last hole to shoot par. "It was not my best hole, but I was determined to shoot par. Also, my father made the mistake of promising me any car I wanted when I shot par for the first time. A week after my astonishing round, I picked out a new 2001 Dodge Dakota. I decided to go a little easy on him."
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game? "First of all, I would advise other juniors to keep practicing. Most times after I had a meet or tournament, I would go out and practice, regardless of how I played. Second, my golf coach, Diane Fedje-Weisgarber, always stresses on focusing on one shot at a time and to remain focused for 19 holes. You should not let bad shots get to you, or else your whole game may fall apart. Forget about it and focus on the next shot, which is always the most important shot. Also, she highly recommends visualizing the course before you play it to mentally prepare yourself."
Additional Activities/Hobbies: Ashley is involved in the Spanish Club and Key Club, and she likes to read, play video games, and go horseback riding.

Most memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event: "I would have to say my most memorable experience while participating in a Minnesota Junior PGA event was when my bag broke and I had to carry it by the handle for the next nine holes."
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game? "The one thing that I would want other junior golfers to remember is that even when you don't want to practice, you should try and make yourself because that's the only way you can get better."
