She has improved after starting out playing Varsity golf for Elk River High School in just 7th grade. She has made All-Conference for the last four years and has been Conference Champion twice. She is a two-time All-State winner, and has competed in the class AA State Tournament the last three years. Rochelle shot her lowest round, a 75, at the Women's State Open this past year. Rochelle finished in a Tie for third place for Players' Tour Player of the year with a total of 876.67 points.
Most Memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event:
Rochelle's memorable moments include meeting many golfers that she has become friends with, and also playing the most beautiful courses in Minnesota.
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game?
Put most of your time into your short game-trust me; it will help lower your scores in the end. Have tons of fun and always remember that golf is just a game!
Additional Activities/Hobbies:
Rochelle loves to spend time at her cabin in Northern Minnesota where she hunts, fishes, and participates in a variety of water sports.

| Holly Opatz Age 18 Bloomington, MN |
Junior Golf Highlights/Accomplishments:
Holly was the 2004 Players' Tour Match Play runner-up at Dacotah Ridge. She took 3rd place in the Westfield Jr. Championship regional qualifier. She has made the All-Conference team for Kennedy high school for the past 5 years and has been the captain of her team for 2 years. Holly placed 28th out of 112 girls in one of the biggest junior tournaments, The Optimist International Junior Tournament at PGA National in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was the AAU champion and took second place in the Jr. US Amateur regional qualifier. She recently signed to play Division I Golf at South Dakota State University.
Most Memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event:
Holly's most memorable moment was playing in the Match Play Tournament at Dacotah Ridge. It was a two-day tournament and she played 36 holes each day in 90-degree weather. For those of you who do not know, Dacotah Ridge has very few trees!
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game?
Work on your short game a lot and never give up! Also, play in as many tournaments as you can-they help you improve!
Additional Activities/Hobbies:

|
| Chelsa Dooley Age 18 Willmar, MN |
Junior Golf Highlights/Accomplishments:
Chelsa has played on the Player's Tour for the last 4 years. She has had a great experience playing with and making life-long friends. She won several events and finished in contention in many as well. Chelsa feels that her record is unimportant, and the real accomplishment in Jr. Golf comes from the lessons learned in competition and the friendships forged throughout the years.
Most Memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event:
Going to Wisconsin for the Minnesota/Wisconsin Cup is probably the most memorable experience. It was just an awesome way go get to know people from all over Minnesota and it was exciting playing with people you had been competing with all throughout the years. She was playing in the singles match and was all-square with her Wisconsin opponent the last day. Her opponent hit a good drive, while Chelsa miss hit hers. She drew a 5-wood and hit a blind shot to 8-feet. She won the match because of that great shot!
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game?
Golf is meant to be fun-enjoy it! My instructor once told me that the sign of an accomplished golfer is not by how they handle themselves when they are shooting a career low, but how they react when all the breaks go against them. Both scenarios should be the same.
Additional Activities/Hobbies:
Chelsa enjoys reading, her friends, movies and family. She also likes playing casual rounds of golf with her Dad and Brother. She says, "Not only is it entertaining, but an excellent source of income!"

She has also won the Girl's Club Championship at Minnesota Valley Country Club for the last three years. This summer Sarah will be participating in the Minnesota/Wisconsin Cup!
Most Memorable experience(s) that occurred while participating in a Minnesota PGA Junior Event:
Sarah's most memorable moment was winning the Junior Tour Player's Cup. She sank a 40-foot birdie putt on 17th hole to win by won stroke-shooting an 83 at Chaska Town Course.
What are some tips/advice that you would recommend to other juniors to help them with their game?
Practice is only worthwhile if it is good practice. Work on the fundamentals, especially your short game and be patient. Golf is not a game that comes quickly. Just remember to keep a positive mental attitude and always have FUN!
