The Minnesota Section PGA and PGA REACH Minnesota created the Youth Putting Challenge in response to the cancellation of Drive, Chip and Putt Championships in 2020.
It consists of a series of youth putting challenge qualifiers, leading into a 1-day championship. Youth members and non-members 6-14 years old are eligible to compete. Participants will test their skills on an 18-hole putting course and qualifiers in each division will be decided by the lowest cumulative score. The top-3 plus ties (per age division) will earn their spot in the championship. Unlike Drive, Chip & Putt, each competitor may register and compete in multiple events.
All competitors must reside within the Minnesota PGA Section boundaries. This includes all of Minnesota and North Dakota, South Dakota (less areas surrounding cities of Rapid City, Vermillion, and Yankton) and a portion of Western Wisconsin that includes St. Croix County and Superior, Wisconsin.
