DESCRIPTION:To be eligible for the ‘Sota Series and 3M Open Fund Scholarship\, applicants MUST have been a participant or member of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Program in a current or previous year. \nThe applicant also must be a senior in high school for the 2025-2026 school year and all applicants need to have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible. \nScholarship recipients will be selected on the following criteria basis by using a combination of criteria: \n\nHigh School Grades\nClass Rank\nACT/SAT Scores\nExtracurricular Activities\nOne-Page Essay\nFamily Income\nMinnesota PGA Junior Golf program participation\n\nExtracurricular activities will help the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee further evaluate the candidate’s interests and abilities.  Contributions to the community may be demonstrated by involvement in local clubs and organizations/associations. Extracurricular activities should be documented by type and years involved.

DESCRIPTION:Junior Tour\, Minny Tour and Prep Tour schedules will get released at 9AM on Wednesday\, March 18\, 2026!\nThe tournament selection process for Junior/Minny/Prep Tour events will run from Wednesday\, March 18\, 2026 – Wednesday\, April 29\, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. (CST).\nEveryone who selects an event during this time frame has the same chance to receive it as everyone else. It is NOT based on first come\, first served as long as your picks are made within the selection time frame. \nNO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED PAST THE DEADLINE! \nThe Minnesota PGA Junior Golf ‘Sota Series is proud to offer over 200 tournaments in Minnesota\, South Dakota\, North Dakota\, and Western Wisconsin. In order to provide ample playing opportunities to our members\, we have devised a Tournament Selection Process\, also referred to as a lottery\, to ensure everyone has a chance to compete in the events they desire. The Tournament Selection Process is ONLY for the Minny/Prep/Junior Tour events.
