2009 Beginners', Transition Tour and Junior Tour Tournaments
The tournament selection deadline has already passed for 2009. The deadline to get picks in for
the tournament selection process was on April 24th by 4:30 p.m. (CST) If you became a member before the deadline but did not make your tournament
selections OR if you are not a member of our program yet, please click here to find out your options after the
deadline.
Online Registration for Open Events:
Juniors that are 2009 members are now able to register for Beginners/Transition/Junior Tour
tournaments that still have openings after the tournament selection process. Juniors will be able to register for events that have open spots up to seven days
prior to the date of the event. This event registration will be on a first come, first serve basis and we will only accept online tournament registrations. You can click on this
2009 Event Schedule to check out the events that have openings. Events that are still open have a register link next to them. At this time you will need
to use your ID and Password to sign up for an event. You can also sign up for open events by logging into your Junior Players Club account. If you sign into your
Junior Players Club account you will be able to register for more than one event at a time. Events that still have openings will have a check box next to them when you
are logged into your Players Club account and have clicked on the tournaments tab.
How to view event information, tee times, results, etc...
Please click on the respective BlueGolf Beginners’, Transition, Junior or Players’ Tour schedule on the left hand side
of the website to view specific information for each event. You will then click on the info button link for that event to view tee times, results, driving directions
and much more. Tee times for events that are listed as a tee time start will be posted four days before the date of the scheduled event and also at this time your tee time
will be emailed to your primary email address in BlueGolf.
How to cancel out of a Beginners/Transition/Junior Tour event:
If a junior must cancel out of an event, a partial refund will be made only if the MN PGA Junior Golf Association is notified before 4:30 p.m.,
at least seven days prior to the event. If you cancel out of an event at least seven days prior to the event you will receive a full refund minus a $5.00
processing fee. If you need to cancel out of an event please do so by logging into your Junior Players Club account.
Players' Club: Premium Addition
With the Premium Player's Club you will be able to add scorecards from other tournaments and rounds of golf. See your
strengths and weaknesses in just a couple of clicks. You will be provided an in depth analysis of your tournament rounds based on scores
and shots as well as best finishes of your tournament rounds. You will also be able to keep an address book of your friends and
view their tournament performances. This system is a good place to keep all your records for college coaches and resumes.

Liability Release
All juniors that are members of the MN PGA Junior Golf Association need to have a signed Liability Release form on file at our office. This
is mandatory to participate in any of our programs and you will not be allowed to play in any events without one on file. You can
download the Liability Release form below and either fax or mail it back to our office.

Minnesota Section Junior PGA Championship |
 |
|
Juniors! The Minnesota Section Junior PGA Championship (formerly the Westfield Junior Minnesota PGA Championship) will be taking place at
Stillwater CC and Dellwood Hills GC for juniors ages 13-18. We will also be having a championship for juniors 12 and under at the Pebble Creek GC in
Becker, MN. If you would like to learn more about this tournament and registration, then you should check out the information about the 2009 Minnesota

NEW START TIME FOR RIVER OAKS GC
The Junior Tour event at River Oaks GC on Tuesday, July 14th has a new starting time. The NEW START TIME is 8:00 a.m. tee times off the 1st and 10th tees.
NEW DATE/TIME FOR VINTAGE AT STAPLES JUNIOR TOUR EVENT
Due to a scheduling conflict we had to rescheduled the Vintage at Staples Junior Tour event. The new date & time is Wednesday, July 15, 2009 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
NEW START TIME FOR MINNEAPOLIS GC
The Players’ Tour event at Minneapolis GC on Monday, July 27th has a new starting time. The NEW START TIME is a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS UPDATE
A change has been made to the end of the year event for the Players’ Tour, the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association Tournament of Champions. This tournament will still be taking place at The Legacy Courses at Cragun’s in Brainerd, Minnesota but will now be a 36 hole one-day event on Friday, August 7th. More information will be sent out to those juniors who qualify for this event.
CONFIRMATION EMAILS FROM BLUEGOLF
It is very important that you put an email address down on your membership application that you check often. All confirmation emails for membership and events will go to the email address that you have listed. This confirmation email will contain your ID and Password for BlueGolf that you will need to sign into your Junior Players Club account. Please add the following email address to your contact list or “Do Not Block” list in your email account:

2009 MN SECTION PGA JUNIOR GOLF SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
The Minnesota PGA Foundation is proud to announce that four juniors have been chosen to receive a scholarship in 2009. The scholarship recipients are James Thorson of Austin, MN, Tyler Munneke of Champlin, MN, Jennifer Benoy of St. Croix Falls, WI, and Paige Hagstrom of Medina, MN. Starting this fall, the four will be receiving scholarships of $4,000.00 to apply towards their college tuition over the next four years. The Minnesota PGA Foundation awarded the scholarships on a combination criterion of high school grades, class rank, ACT/SAT, and extracurricular activities.
