To be eligible for the ‘Sota Series and 3M Open Fund Scholarship, applicants MUST have been a participant or member of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Program in a current or previous year.
The applicant also must be a senior in high school for the 2025-2026 school year and all applicants need to have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average to be eligible.
Scholarship recipients will be selected on the following criteria basis by using a combination of criteria:
- High School Grades
- Class Rank
- ACT/SAT Scores
- Extracurricular Activities
- One-Page Essay
- Family Income
- Minnesota PGA Junior Golf program participation
Extracurricular activities will help the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Committee further evaluate the candidate’s interests and abilities. Contributions to the community may be demonstrated by involvement in local clubs and organizations/associations. Extracurricular activities should be documented by type and years involved.
