Minnesota PGA Junior Golf conducts the local qualifying for the National Boys Junior PGA Championship and the National Girls Junior PGA Championship.

The Overall Low and Runner-Up for both the boys and girls division at the Minnesota Section level will get a chance to compete at the National Junior PGA Championships in their respective category. The 2022 National Boys and Girls Junior PGA Championships will be held at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Palos Park, Illinois on August 2-5, 2022.

This year, the Minnesota Boys Junior PGA Championship was held at The Wilds Golf Club on July 5-6, 2022. Jack Schrader finished with a career low 65 after the second round to place him in the top qualifying spot. After three playoff holes, Ryan Stendahl defeated Cole Witherow for the second qualifying spot to Cog Hill.

The Minnesota Girls Junior PGA Championship was held at Bemidji Town & Country Club on June 20-21, 2022. Defending champion Kathryn Van Arragon scored a 66-73-139 to carry her to her second consecutive title. Reese McCauley followed behind shooting 70-78–148 to secure the second qualifying spot.
